V2X-Based Mobile Localization in 3D Wireless Sensor Network

In a wireless sensor network (WSN), node localization is key requirement for many applications. The concept of mobile anchor-based not new concept; however, the anchor nodes gains much attention with advancement in Internet Things (IoT) and electronic industry. this paper, we present range-free algorithm sensors three-dimensional (3D) networks based on flying anchors. nature also suitable vehicle as are using setup similar to vehicle-to-infrastructure- (V2I-) positioning algorithm. A multilayer C-shaped trajectory chosen random walk equipped Global Positioning System (GPS) broadcasts its location information over sensing space. keep transmitting beacon along their position unknown select three further form triangle. distance then computed by link quality induction against each that uses centroid-based formula compute error. simulation shows average error our proposed system 1.4 m standard deviation 1.21 m. geometrical computation eliminated use extra hardware avoids any direct communication between applicable all types topologies.
